Dates and availability

Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and every March, April and May. Your advisor will reconfirm dates and availability with the operator and reply as soon as possible. If confirmation is unavailable the same day, follow-up may continue the next day.

Common questions

How do snorkelling, intro diving and certified diving differ?
  • The snorkelling package includes two snorkelling sessions.
  • Intro diving offers either 1 dive + 1 snorkelling session, or 2 dives, with no diving certificate required.
  • Certified diving includes two dives and requires valid diving certification.
Can children join, and what are the age requirements?
  • Snorkelling is for ages 7 and above. The child fare applies to ages 7–11; this snorkelling trip is not suitable for children under 7.
  • Intro diving is for ages 10 and above, subject to operator and instructor approval.
Where do we check in, and what are the departure and return times?
  • Check in at 8:30 AM at Royal Langkawi Yacht Club.
  • The tour runs from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with an estimated return to the Langkawi jetty at 5:30 PM.
What is included, and are hotel transfers included?
  • Your package includes the selected snorkelling or diving activities and equipment, the return boat journey, a Chinese- and English-speaking guide and a light lunch on the island.
  • Hotel transfers are not included. Return transfers in Cenang or Kuah can be added for RM30 per person.
Which dates are unavailable?
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and every March, April and May, are unavailable.
Can certified divers join after a long break from diving?
  • Provide your diving certification and the date of your last dive.
  • If you have not dived for more than 6 months, the first dive must be a refresher. Let your advisor know in advance.
